If this sounds like your baby: sometimes sleeping hot; sweating easily; maybe being slightly constipated; prone to rashes or pimply outcrops; occasionally having an odor about her/his body, or body wastes; is slightly (or ridiculously) temperamental, night terrors, night mares and general distress, especially around sleeping, it is possible that you have a child with a tendency to “hot blood”.
HOT BLOOD
This is an acupuncture term for an inner process that underlies various life expressions.
This tendency may continue through out life, gradually displaying itself as more disruptive manifestations. You may think it is ”just” them, ‘just’ your family patterns, but often, a very peaceful person is inside there, waiting for their turn, once the overlay of trauma/toxins /temper is alleviated.
With careful management, the symptoms of heat may be managed, but it is more useful to stop or reduce both the triggers that cause it and the consequences. Besides raising a ‘challenging’ child, eventually any ‘hot blood’ patterns will create discreet actual physical body ‘problems’ needing ‘fixing;’
HOW DO WE GET “HOT BLOOD”?
Initially this “hot blood” may show itself as a child ‘with attitude’. This may have been bub since you greeted each other. (Think of shock/birth trauma healing birth vibrational essence /in utero exposure to toxins or those prior to conception).
Hot blood can be something that we ‘inherit’ from parents who for whatever reason were showing this energy tendency themselves. It could be that birth experience, or ‘catching’ Mum’s trauma has thrown baby into this state.
Vaccination (the injection of multiple toxins, before the immune system can efficiently deal with even foreign proteins in mum’s milk, let alone something willfully forced into its blood stream) may set this in motion, or aggravate an already reactive body. See www.vaccinationdebate.com
It may be that a combination of these factors has lead to baby not being breastfed, or to reacting allergenically to substances within the milk itself (Mum choosing foods and fluids that create heat within – common examples being caffeine, preservatives, chilies and oranges and juice).
It may be that through the stresses of life, Mum may have a gut that is allowing allergic processes to fester and flow on into the breast milk, thus sensitizing junior, regardless of the ‘perfect’ ingredients she chooses to eat,
SOLUTION – Besides NOT exposing baby to these optional extras, taking Zinc liquid before conception, during pregnancy and after birth is a great investment in baby gut/behaviour and health insurance.

Post birth, instead of trying to find solutions to these ones that medicine actually considers existing and recognizes – rashes and tendency to cystitis /burning/nappy scald; and ones for which behaviouralists may suggest controlled crying and ‘disciplining’ in various ways, it may be easier for everyone to look further within to the programmes in the energy signature that lie beneath the obvious physical discomforts. All of these issues have at their core a pattern acupuncturists call ‘hot blood”.
If left to develop, as we ‘grow up’ and age, there are more issues to be dealt with - and those around will then say “s/he was always a difficult kid”. This usually has nothing to do with ‘good’ or ‘bad’ parenting choices and actions, but is an outcome of how baby’s energy developed, and how it was not recognized as a warning of things to come.
